I am implanting messages in your brain

Vincent from the Netherlands seems to have caught on the clever bit of marketing through design we implemented as part of the new Radiotail.com.

I don’t know if I would call this subliminal. It was a conscious decision on my part to make the colors of the bold text, only slightly darker than the other text. However, its pretty obvious when you look at it (from the first instant) what’s strong and what’s not. If I wanted to go subliminal, I could fade in pictures of dollar bills in the place of the strong words (or maybe duckies). I wanted to highlight certain text (what the element is really for) without it being distracting. I think I must have succeeded in some way, if someone took note.

Right on AQ. This is really great work here… the buzz words are too buzzy, so highlighting them really works I think
