What I’m drooling over today: Monome 40h

I first heard about the Monome 40h back in April, before MakerFaire, and I’ve been coveting one ever since.

It just takes one look at the video and my desire rages and the day-dreaming begins. Its like LightsOut meets an MPC, with way more functionality.

What I really want is them to make a kit, thats a little cheaper, that I can solder together myself. I really like the possibilities this type of control could have for not just dance and ambient music, but Hip-hop as well. Live beats! A 40h + MsPinky would be unstoppable . . .

. . . to daydream . . .
